Tintin and the Alph-Art was the last, unfinished book of "The Adventures of Tintin". Herge died before he could finish it, so a collection of the unfinished drafts were published instead of the whole, complete story. Some has tried to finalize his drafts and continue the story, and among them, Yves Rodier's version was one of the popular ones. Here's the English version of it for those of you who haven't read it:

In my opinion, Rodier did a good job. The colors and art was successful in reflecting Herge's Tintin, and though some characters are a bit OOC, it was still a very nice try.

Yves Rodier's version can only be found in low resolution. It allows reading it, but not satisfying. Is there any chance to find a version of it with high resolution?

We're sorry but the one on that link up there is already the highest resolution we can find. I think it's rather a great quality. o_O

Thank you for the link!

I found it not bad, but the end is somewhat disappointing. Also, there is a feeling that the author was very young when making that album - in fact, Yves Rodier was 17-19 at that time or I am mistaking?

The graphism is very far from Herge's level though some strips are really good. Well, in my opinion the part of the story that was invented by Herge is much more interesting than the rest by Rodier...

Sorry for my English )

best regards from Russia!
